Kendra Louka, a playwright and screenwriter based in Virginia Beach, has self-produced, directed, and written CENTER PEACE, STILL LIFE, and YOU ME for Zeider’s American Dream Theater’s Fringe Festival. Her musical, RIDING THE BUBBLE BUS, was performed as a stage reading at Zeider’s American Dream Theater’s Proteus Festival. At the Little Theater of Norfolk, Louka presented her short plays GARDENS, CHEERS!, EUREKA!, and THE THING STORE. Louka’s work explores themes through complex characters who are trapped in their circumstances who want to be seen.
