Join Us

We are a consortium of writers who are looking to one another for guidance and direction in developing scripts. We work to help develop professional work and promote that work into eventual production. Membership is determined by the group and availability.

We expect all members of Z Playwrights Lab to:

• Continue to deepen their understanding of stagecraft,
• Increase and share their knowledge of the play development process,
• Attend meetings regularly to comment on the work of fellow playwrights,
• Join fellow creators/supporters of Zeiders American Dream Theater as a Z Artist Member ($60 a year), and 
• Contribute to the Z Playwrights Lab through participation and volunteering.

To become a member of the Z Playwrights Lab:

1. Submit an application for review by current members.
2. If you are accepted as a probationary member, you will then attend meetings as a non-participating guest regularly for 3 meetings to understand how the playwrights lab works.
3. Decide if you are interested in making a serious commitment to writing for the stage and to the other members of the group.
4. Support Zeiders American Dream Theater by becoming a Z Artist Member .
5. The Lab will then vote to bring you on as a full member.
