Zeiders American Dream Theater (The Z) is founded on the belief that the imagination, passion, and discipline of creativity are essential to the growth of individuals and communities in all successful endeavors – artistic and beyond. Our mission makes us a creative home for our community – playwrights, artists and audiences alike.

What is The Z Playwrights Lab? We give our member playwrights opportunities to improve their skills and present their work. At our twice monthly workshops we read scripts and with instructions from our two lead facilitators, Clyde Santana and Jean Klein, we constructively critique each other’s work in a safe and productive environment. Our schedule includes virtual and in person meetings. We also share professional, educational, and marketing guidance to advance our plays towards production.
